About AG Equine Services
Addison Griffith is a horse trainer and equine professional who provides training services at The1890 Ranch, as well as outside horses for training. She holds certifications in Equine Training and Management and currently serves as the Assistant Instructor for the same program at ACC, where she helps educate and mentor the next generation of horsemen and women.
Addison's background is well rounded, with certifications in breeding and stallion handling and extensive experience managing breeding, training, and performance barns across the United States. Her approach is deeply rooted in the Spanish California/Nevada tradition of horsemanship. This philosophy emphasizes patience, precision, and a commitment to “putting the horse first,” with a focus on building partnership through thoughtful training.
Through her programs, Addison works with horses at every stage, from prospects to seasoned horses, combining foundational groundwork, colt starting, and advanced training. She has a soft spot for the "rough around the edges" horses that need a little more time and effort; the end goal is always a well rounded, responsive, happy horse.

No matter if I drive to you or you drive to me each lesson is individualized to the rider. Horsemanship is taught from the ground up, everything from grooming, tacking, leading, ground work and riding! English and Western disciplines.

Training
Mobile and in house training:
From the moment they hit the ground horses are learning and its our job to make sure they are learning the right things! For horses of all ages and disciplines. Independently scheduled to 30+ day sessions. Full starts to quick tune ups, looking at each horses needs and working with them to make a confident trusting horse. English and western any age, breed and gender.

Saddle fittings, Nutrition +
Saddle fittings:
Making a 3D model of your horses back that shows all muscle growth and asymmetry's, as well a providing a tool to use when saddle shopping! you will have exact measurements for any style saddle. Plus looking at any saddles currently in use and pad suggestions!
*$100 each fitting + gas fee for locations over 30 min, multiple horse discount*
Nutrition:
Using your horses breed, age, weight, height and activity level, I make a detailed nutrient plan so your horse can look and feel its best. Working in any grains, supplements and hay types for the ideal meal time routine!
*$100 for phone consult, in person fees vary*
Clinics:
Addison offers horse clinics designed to support riders and horses at every stage of development. Covering a wide range of topics, clinics include colt starting, groundwork fundamentals, early foal handling, saddle fitting, and overall horsemanship. With a focus on building clear communication, confidence, and correct biomechanics, Addison tailors her instruction to meet the needs of both horse and rider. Whether you’re starting a young horse or refining advanced skills, her well-rounded approach helps create a solid, lasting foundation.
